RTA
The New Orleans Regional Transit Authority, or RTA, operates the city's bus lines and two streetcar lines as well. One-day and three-day transit passes can be purchased at many hotel information counters and various retail locations. Detailed route maps and schedules are provided on the website.

Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport
The airport is approximately 21 miles from the Central Business District. This includes the Riverwalk, French Quarter, and Jackson Square. Taxicabs, shuttle buses, and public transportation have routes that can get you to the city 24-hours a day.

Jefferson Transit
Jefferson Transit operates the buses in Jefferson Parish, directly across the Mississippi River from New Orleans.  A ride on this public bus costs $1.50 per person which includes one transfer good from any Jefferson Transit bus.
